Sweeeeet Plane! Got a buddy going to refurbish the original builders kit and I think he is in need of a canopy due to the one he got weighs a ton from the textured epoxy paint used for "cool factor" back in the day. Any suggestions?

Does he need just a canopy or a hatch too? this is a totally different design from the PAK kits. the only thing in common is the canopy ( plastic part ) We can cut a new hatch if he needs that too.

[quoteYou'll need tones0061;1969397]The plane looks awesome yet at the same time very familure. I wonder why that could be. Question for you since I know you run the life batteries. I just bought two 2500mah 2s life batteries to run in my 55cc cap 232 I'm building. My chargers manual says it will charge life batteries but I do not see a option for it when I go through the different battery types on the charger. Do I need to create a custom setting. This is the charger I use[/quote]

Hello
I have the hobby king version of this charger and it can only have one lithium battery available at a time.
So you need to go to the options menu and select the 3.3 voltage charge to select LiFE batteries. Of course that's if its the same.
Hope this helps
Jim

Thanks for that. Yeah mine is essentially four of the HK chargers in one. I did a search on YouTube this morning and saw how to do it. I had read the instruction a couple times and it didn't clearly explain that bt now it makes since.

looks great jerry!!

get your pilot mounted so it won't change your balance point.

are the counterbalances weighted or just aerodynamic?
