The mid wing Extra 300 is not in production. Current models are based on the 300L which has the low wing.

PS: Any chance you'll license your scheme to an ARF manufacturer? Thats a really nice colour combo and the scheme is awesome
Yes I'd enjoy seeing that. I'm not speaking with anyone at the moment but I'm sure it will happen.

Since it's introduction the 330sc has simply captivated me...I think I've watched every video on YouTube of Renaud Ecalle drawing the most beautiful lines in the sky, they were an unbeatable combination.

I have to ask though, did you consider the mx2? I thought it represented the NEW benchmark in aerobatics. Rob Holland seems to be performing well in his single seat version...

I considered all the options but once I decided I wanted a two seat certified aircraft the only serious contenders were the XtremeAir XA42 and the Extra 330LX.

I'd say the 330LX and the MX2 are comparable aircraft for competition.

We can't compare aircraft when Rob is involved. He isn't quite human.

I asked our staff artist, De'Shan, to do a mockup of how we could put "Flying Giants" on the plane.

We probably won't use this but it's too fun to keep to myself.

Enjoy.

What about the 342 (XA42) did you not like?

There is certainly nothing to dislike about the XA42. It wasn't an easy decision.

I felt the resale value of the 330LX would be better. Also, support for the Extra is a bit easier to come by than the XA42.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting to see the purchase decision points are similar to those of purchasing a motor vehicle
