AeroBroach,
Anyone know anything about this company?. Ordered a set of these almost 2 months ago. And nothing. I’ve tried to call and message says voicemail is full, I’ve sent several emails with a quick robo response that I will be contacted in 24hours but still nothing. My payment was accepted by them. Just curious. Looks like a great product and looking forward to giving them a try.

Did you ever hear back from them and/or receive your tools?

flysrc, I have been using the Aerobroach system for several years and love it. Easy to use and works great. Sorry, but I have no idea why they have not responded to your order or emails. Hopefully, you will hear something soon.

This with a #11 exacto blade should work nicely. I’d use Dubro two-piece hinges or Robart pin hinges over CA hinges. If you think the Goldberg solution works then send me your contact info and I will send you one. (they came with every kit)

FWIW - I called them yesterday. Same automated message. So I emailed them. I received an auto-reply that my message was received and they would contact me shortly. Nothing yet, but considering the holidays, that’s not too surprising. Anyway, we’ll see.

Are you trying to contact Aerobroach or Wrong Way RC? If you are trying to contact Wrong Way, Richard (the owner and only employee) passed away a few weeks ago.

I contacted AeroBroach. I don’t know who or what Wrong Way is/was but from what I have read, they just carried Aerobroach’s product. AeroBroach has their own website, ordering system, contact number, and email. No need to contact Wrong Way for these tools.

For what it’s worth, I contacted Precision Aero, who is a distributor listed on AeroBroach’s website. They said that that do not carry the AB tooling any longer and haven’t been able to get in touch with them. There is one other distributor listed, “JC’s Hobbies”, but so far they have not answered their phone, or they are out of business. It would be so nice if someone knew what happened to this company. The tools look awesome. I really want to purchase a set.

Me as well, good looking tools but after waiting 4+ months I had to do but didn’t want to do a paypal thing and get my money refunded....

Wow. That sucks. I was hoping to hear from you but I was hoping you had better news.

Maybe I need to tool up and make my own.

Giant scale and CA hinges don't mix. Save yourself a lot of grief and install some quality flat pinned hinges. I consider it time well spent. About the only thing I'll ever use CA hinges on is small electrics and even those will need servicing if you keep the plane very long .

Kevin -

Agreed. But the AeroBroach hinge tools we were discussing included three sizes - one for CA hinges, a middle size for .60-size hinges, and then a 1/4 scale size for thick, flat, pinned hinges to which you’re referring. All for $16 bucks. Would love to have a set.
