For anyone running canisters on a twin, can you provide the header drop required? Thanks.

How does one plan to balance these with the heavier DA215's or DA200's?

On paper - they are all ~ 2lbs heavier than the GP178, ZDZ195 or DA170. That's a lot of extra nose weight for a light airframe. Might require a a lot of dead lead at the tail....

Spencer has a DA200 in his. Talking to his dad, he mentioned it was nose heavy, but not sure if they added any additional weight to the tail. He was using stock mufflers..

Spencer can fly a brick!!

Nose heavy means nothing to him.

On a serious note - unlike traditional 40% planes - this one is 5-8lbs lighter and as such IMHO heavier motors will require a lot of lead in the tail for balancing. I removed the 12oz solid wood plank I was using for spacing with traditional standoff (4oz) and now mine is down to 36lbs.

What standoffs and sizes are you using to get the right thrust angles? I’m planning to use a GP 178 as well, so this info would be awesome. 😎

31MM on left and 21mm on right = 3.0-3.5 degrees offset.
