I'm glad they didn't put the transparent covering on this one. I never cared for that on the previous model.

Son of a...... I just bought a short kit for a Ultra Stick 120 lite.

I wonder if this is the "lite" version or the regular which was a heavy pig.

Neither. This is a larger air frame than any of the other Ultra Sticks that were produced for Horizon. A whole bunch of changes were made to the design also. Some of which are ( Below is a copy of a response to a post on FB that mentioned that it looked exactly the same as the posters old Ultra Stick in his attic)
Different fuselage hatch and cooling system, U/C with wheel pants, removable flight battery mounting system, different servo mounting with optional internal or external locations, Substanially larger area control surfaces ( all of them ) , two piece wing, float mounting pre installed, tool less assembly at the field, self aligning motor drilling template.
Weight of the production model is 12.2 lbs ready to fly.

Regards Ali

Does this new airframe use Robart style pin hinges or the CA type?

Nope. Missed that one also. This one was from a plastic model hobby shop that bought out another hobby shop's inventory and ebay'ed all the rc planes.

Any plans for bringing back the smaller 40/60 size models?
