This is a stunt pilot with a stunt runway crew. They've been doing this type of events for years.

Yes....only because they did this stunt with possible expired clearances. FAA is still doing its investigation. If the clearances are good then he didn't do anything wrong.

When Newburg initially posted the video on his FB page, It was captioned "We have a screamer!". It wasn't what I though it'd be.

A pilot last week flying from Tenn. was landing his plane a high wing single engine at a Taylorsville NC county airport grass runway and landed on a man on a riding lawnmower mowing the runway. No one was killed but the man on the mower suffered a severed hand. The pilot was at fault for not circling the field first for clearance.
