The aileron authority is definitely there, I honestly haven't measured my throw degree. Andrew and I just worked out what the plane needed to get though the Tucson Invitational sequence and left it there, lol.

I can attest that the 115 definitely has a lot of aileron authority, however I was flying a friends airplane so I dont know how much it actually has. But I can say it was much much more than I was expecting out of a 40%'er

It's actually surprisingly, how responsive the ailerons are. I'm not sure the throw amounts, but I'm out as far as the hinge will allow. Probably not going to give the best roll rates at WOT, but I'm seldom there.

I've made some progress...

I have to say that I was waiting to get the cannisters and headers from JMB to continue. I don't have much time 'till January 19th. But I'm almost done... Ready for the VERY SCARY baffling. This is my first quad, so imagine

BTW, ailerons and elevators still there...Let's see if WARWIX can make it to get those pictures he said... I understand that you finally had to cut some where to use 1.25" servo arms on elevators. I'm going to follow that path...

I would keep an eye on that throttle servo. I have glued the supplied box just like that and have had them come loose. Usually, the plywood that you glue it to delaminates and a layer of ply comes off with the servo box.

Thank you very much for the good tip and the help... I didn't glue it actually. I had that choice in mind at first but I opted to use bolt and nuts to be able to take it off easyly later to finish the throttle linkage. I'll use a ball link on the servo arm. So I'd have to cut that rod an threaded it later

i maidened mine a couple of days ago........all i can say is WOW........great flying airplane.
unfortunately, i only had one day to fly. made the maiden then took it apart to bring it home and go over it again one more time. the baffle worked perfectly, and head temps were low.

Cooling system for DA200L on LaserAJ123

I built the baffling and the airbox for the DA200L. The temperature measurements are taken through Jeti sensors. Everything has been built with 2mm balsa covered with 160gr. fiberglass. The interior of the airbox, that is only 5mm from the cyls, is painted with high-temperature paint.
It is interesting to notice that from minute seven the rear cylinders tend to become slightly cooler than the front.
In general, the difference between front and rear is marginal and, as a consequence, the carburation is very stable during flight.
The temperature difference from the left and the right side of the engine is due to the fuel circulation into the carburators and not to the cooling system.
The whole system seems to be working fine, as this DA engine that is always a source of satisfaction.

I sold mine last winter and starting to regret it. I might buy another one this winter.

It's an incredibly fun airplane. Still small enough to really fly aggressive, yet big enough to slow down and do some tail draggin

I'm running a ZDZ 195 and JMB cans in mine. I'm looking for the recommended CG for the 115?
