It depends on the application. For what it was used for, there are better materials, like Z-Foam because they are more elastic and are not adversely affected by regular CA. For airplanes this size, the lighter EPS foam is the better choice for the performance all around

You wouldn't build a full scale airplane from balsa, would you? How about a model out of aluminum?
