Just purchased a Skyline Corvus Breitling 30CC 74''/1880mm 3D Aerobatic

I have never built a plane before and am looking forward to the challenge of it all.

I just bought and have not received yet a Skyline Corvus Breitling 30CC 74''/1880mm 3D Aerobatic ARF from General Hobby.

I already have a Spektrum DX7s, but will need the recommendation of a receiver to match my dx7s as well.

I will need a 100 amp ESC (need recommendations)

I will need a 2000 watt motor (need Recommendations)

.................................................. .................................................. .........................

Below is what is recommended from General Hobby...

Electric Power (not included):

KUZA EXM 5420 185KV with 12S 3300-4000mAh 18x10 prop
KUZA EXM 5420 280KV with 8S 3700-4400mAh 18x10 prop
DUSKY XM6350EA-12 with 8S 3700-4400mAh 18x10 prop
Or other 1800-2000Watt electric motor
ESC:80-100A

RADIO:4CH/5-6S (not included)
.................................................. .................................................. ...............................

I do not know what battery or batteries to use either.

I could go gas with this plane, but really prefer electric.

I have other planes, but none of them this large and all electric.

I have a DCH-2 Beaver, P51 fabulous Freddie, 2000 Euro jet, a small bi-plane and a helicopter.

Recommendations will be appreciated.

Please excuse my ignorance.

Thanks Ken

Hello Ken, I'm building one right now and I'll start a thread on RCG soon. A resume of my setup:
EMP6364 rewound to 235kv
11S 3300mAh 45C (6S+5S in series)
YEP 120A HV ESC
YEP 20A SBEC
The quality of the kit is good but I ran into a big issue with the cowling: after installing it, the canopy didn't fit.
To fix that I removed the ring from the cowling and installed it using the traditional side screws method (Just had to add tri Stock blocks at the firewall).
I'll post pictures here later.

Just noticed you said this is your first build (and 3rd post), do you know how to fly RC planes? The Corvus is an aerobatic/ 3D plane which will require advanced flying skills (definitely not for beginners).
I just want to make sure you've flown other intermediate or advanced planes before.

No I have not flown intermediate or advanced planes before. I am putting the cart before the horse..lol I don't plan on running this size plane until I get the experience. But, I can build it and admire it, until I get the experience.
