Im very interested in this product and after reading this thread i dont see any mention of the word vibration. I say this because i have had a lot of problems with vibration causing a stabilizer to do some unexpected crap.

I used stab in many elec with no problems, but now fly only gas. 30cc to 100cc and you better pay attention to the mounting of a stab.

So what makes this stab any diff. Will vibration from a gasser be a problem?

I am sure, from reading the website, that this is for all types. The Demon Cortex is already proven to work in large gassers.. so I see no reason this one wouldn't too.

Please see the FC8 being tested on a gasser.

Many also saw the Aura flying first hand at the Joe Nall in the new Mamba Biplane on a 70cc. (and also in QQ Extra, F-16, and Ventique)
All the comments were on how stable it is...

You can see a couple of short clips on the Flex Innovations Facebook page...

It has quality connectors with strong power bus traces, our part will not be the limiter. It is just the limit of the servo connector and wire itself. I am sure you can find many threads discussing the 'rated' and 'practical' and 'real' limits of a quality servo connector. It is not really specific or unique to this product, it is the limit of the existing R/C system architecture.

For larger aircraft with multiple large servos, it would be recommended to use more than one connector inputting power to the power BUS (+/- of S1-S8, and port B). In the case you want to use all the available inputs/outputs, this (ex. second input) can be done with HD Y-harnesses.

Like ANY control system or Rx, or microprocessor device, it will require a good power supply for perfect operation (though our circuit will reboot fast in 3 axis modes).
It does have voltage regulators and a significant capacitor internally to handle any very short term noise or voltage fluctuation.

Thanks for your interest,
David
I have just ordered one and am excited about it. As far as current capacity, this is a non issue for me as I never connect any servos directly anyway, by using the fiber optic servo extensions, all servos have there own battery/ies with no servo feed back for safety,
As for automation and people who think is not good for the hobby, one word, try removing all automation on any airlines, LOL

I have a question regarding the configurable output ports. Can I use this with a biplane that has 4 channels for ailerons if I hook up two remote receivers? In theory, that would give me 8 outputs. I have a Beast 60e that I am in process of replacing. Before the Beast went in (dumb thumbed), I was using an AR636 with a JR Matchbox. However, I really did not like having to use the app for DR, expo, and mixes. I prefer to do that in the Tx. Plus, with my new DX9, I won't need the JR Matchbox anymore.

In the absence of an available manual, I have to ask here. Essentially, I want to be able to declare 4 outputs for roll, 1-2 for pitch, 1 for yaw, and 1 for throttle (no gyro).

I will order one if this is possible. I didn't use the gyro a lot, but I really liked it when the wind kicked up, as it often does at my field.
