Thunderbolt may be the only company in North America that does service. They are also very helpful.

The model number of the ones I was testing are H51B. My latest project is a 122" Sukhoi which I will finish tomorrow and possibly fly on Friday.

Nice warm day in GA. Flew my 3D jet along with 3D planes at our local jet field. We now have 6 pilots with several jets with BB servos in them at this field.

ThunderboltRC.com is also an authorized service depot, so you never need to send servos to Taiwan.

Hey Guys, Setting up a 34% Edge 540 (Scratch build) --
Looking at BLS-42A (@7.4V) One on each surface, How does this sound? also what do we use for throttle?

After a few hundred flights how are the Bls-42a's going?

Some guys complained about jitter with the 42A. I believe bluebird is coming out with 43A which addresses the issue with the 42A. At least that's what I was told by a guy who uses bluebird.

The first gen BLS41A's had bad jitter problems (4 years ago), they have since had several firmware updates which reduced the jitter. But to answer your question, the 42A's did get a bit sloppy after 3 seasons of flying, but to refresh I ordered some 6x10x3 bearings and replaced the top bearing, and they are as good as new.

The original bearings were 6x10x2.5, adding the .5mm gave the output shaft extra support and longevity.

The gears are very durable, I have not had to replace any gears in any of the BB servo's I own.
