These WWl Warbirds have attracted considerable interest lately however, it seems like the predominance of the interest is in the ARF versions, ie the H9 1/4 scale Fokker DVll.
I understand that Balsa USA's Nieuport is in a different category. It appears to be focused on the "strictly scale" market.
What some of us have discovered is that these Birds can be incredibly good performers and that brings in some considerable new interest beyond the "strictly scale" group.
The problem is, the "performance group" is not likely to spend an hour at the field hooking up
wing wires and then taking it all apart at the end of the day.
How about marketing a separate version of the Nieuport that's designed for a short setup at the field. If some of the Scale is sacrificed in the process, that's OK.
