Whoops!
Pilot Yak 54 crash

107" Pilot Yak 54 crash. We were flying in 95F weather with 95% humidity, little too much low n slow on the engine, she didn't like it. Everybody else was having power loss problems and all unanimously decided to pack up after me.

Oh and this is probably the 5th or 6th time I've crashed it, twice like this. New cowl, canopy, rudder, and prop and it'll be good as new(ish). Engine has already been shipped back to DA for inspection.

And it's all on video too!!!

Remote control Airplane 107" Stunt Flying and Fail 7-8-2017 (4 min 21 sec)

I have the rebuild posted in my blog.

Low....., er, never mind. I had a similar engine "issue" a couple of weeks ago in similar conditions. Fortunate to have just broken off the rudder via all of its hinge pins...upright. Quick fix. Sorry for the whoops!
