Our club's Fall Classic is next week if anyone is interested in joining us in Lexington, KY. We have a great facility and a wonderful group of guys to fellowship with.
It’s not drilled because the cowls that come with the plane are drilled at the factory and only math that particular fuselage , it’s impossible for a replacement cowl to match up perfectly with every other fuselage that has been drilled. The easiest thing to do is use a piece of painters tape, put it on the fuse and over the hole on the damaged cowl, mark where the hole is on the tape then peel the tape off the cowl but leave it on the fuselage. Install the new cowl and flip the tape down on it, the mark on the tape should be exactly where the hole was on the old cowl.

I hate indecision......

OK...if I get the printed scheme which wax is recommend and what to use for wipe down after flight? Also, Ultracote seems to be impervious to using alcohol to clean up uncured epoxy and I've also been able to remove CA adhesive with nitromethane on Ultracote without harming the surface.
Wondering if the printed surface is as durable?

You are overthinking it a little too much. Just choose whichever you like best and keep repairs in your mind.

So far I'm 2 months in and really don't see much difference between the printed and regular covering, well except that the printed scheme gets tons of stares and comments at the field. I use turtle wax, wax as u dry product at the end of the day to keep her looking great.

After flying my Laser this morning, a friend said, "Have you considered selling all your other planes and just flying this one."

Yes, it's that good.

Nitro acetone and other solvents will damage the printed scheme

Alcohol is ok

When I cleaned up the epoxy around my hinges on my Demonstrator, denatured alcohol affected the print. Be careful with alcohol too.

Might have been version 1?
My printed laser didn’t get affected by isopropyl alcohol
