I've been flying with Oakley RX polarized for 5 years. Amazing. I wonder how non polarized would be?

I have Oakley Prizms as well. Best flying glasses I’ve ever owned.

Which Prizm lens color is the best for flying and polarized or non polarized? They make several different colors.

Here are a few good choices. They have been specifically designed for RC use. I have been using the Nimbus glasses for a few years now. The set comes with four different sets of lenses which you can change based on the current weather conditions.

This is a really interesting article that talks about colour theory as it relates to RC model livery, and it has a relevant section on sunglasses.

Extreme glare Zurich sunglassea.

Here is the reason why, I actually use a coating combo, dark silver to block the most glare with mid rose to enhance colors.

These glasses now allow me to fly anything from 40 size nitro to jets like my Boomerang at any time of the day, any day.

He can make you a set of prescription glasses with your prefer coating on it.

Darker Glasses

For whatever reason I seem to need/want darker glasses then most people. I just have a tough time looking up in the air during the day at times. And I have a larger head. I get Fatheadz glasses. And use tilting lenses as well.

I am completely aware of how silly it looks but It helps me a lot. I have a few set ups depending on what the sky looks like that day. Some days polarized is better some days not. Smoke color and Green are my usual pairs I use the most.

Gotcha beat, harbour freight tinted safety glasses, $1.99 each, as low as $1 with coupons or sales. I scratch shades too often to buy expensive ones anymore.
