Unfortunately, Tower Hobbies is no longer the Tower Hobbies we are used to. This is a bad copy of Horizon ...

Actually, Tower is now a bad copy of the bad upgrade (or shall I say downgrade) that Horizon morphed into.... which is even worse..

Tower site, poor design, but more savings with loyalty points

For all the Web Sites issues. I do like subtracting $75 off a $300 ish order as one of the benefits of the 9.99 per year Premium Super Saver club. (Some items are excluded)
And in a short time, the new site has been up. I have racked up well over $150 worth of loyalty points.
E.g recently I purchased a Pheonix 120 Size Corsair ARF regularly $399, on sale for $319 (E-retract version).
I added a 6V RX Pack for $24.99 to qualify for a $75 discount,
Also cashed in some of my loyalty points for an additional $100 discount.
With tax, this order is 181.88 shipped.
I have been buying as much as I can from Tower since 1990.
What I dislike is Tower losing so many brands,
I can do the legwork and find the part numbers, despite Horizons inept IT Team.
Just use Google to find the part number and search on Tower, if you need a Servo, do the research on Servo Database and plug in the p\n in Tower Seach.
Tower, Horizon, and Futaba search filters are worthless.
Thank you

After spending 10s of thousands with Tower over the last 15 years, I now shop elsewhere. Never cared for Horizon and still don't. Tower is just now a clone of Horizon. It is too bad because the folks that ran Tower before the merger were very friendly and cared about the customer and their experience.
