hi, i just bought a 50% sbach 342 with a 3W 275 and ready to fly here in florida. The airplane is new (never flew ) and the previews owner set up the Radio sistem for a Futaba 18MZ and i am not familiar w futaba and i buy a 14SG and he gave me the SD car to transfer the data . I like to keep everything like he did because was an amazing job.

and i need help and i need to know if is possible and what i need to do

I don't think you can. The 18 has way more features and they don't directly translate to the 14. (conditions being the biggest example). You can go from the 14SG to the 18MZ/SZ but not the other way.

If you can afford that plane just go out and buy a 18MZ and do the transfer. The 14SG is a dated toy.

I tried to do this for a friend that has the 14SG. It didn't work trying to use the card from my 18MZ in his 14SG. You can go to Futaba USA website and see if the converters in the product support will help.

Sadly, you cannot go from the 18MZ to the 14SG. There is a converter to go to the 18SZ/16SZ, but the 14SG is not possible. I agree, about a new radio. If you don't want to go for the 18MZ I suggest the 18SZ. You can convert the 18MZ files to the 18SZ very easily.

I have both the 14SG and the 18SZ. Both are awesome radios but the 18 has so many more features. It’s a really great value.
