Are we doing or running any freestyle at the Rumble? And here's the big question; if we are, does someone have a freestyle model I could borrow for it? We have a big lack of freestyle in NZ and i think the rumble should involve at least a few routines for those on the sideline

By the way guys, who wanted Wilga foamies? And who wanted Butt Yak foamies?

Yep, we will be having freestyle at the Rumble.

We have a massive PA, so can lightup the field with Music.

Not sure at this stage if it will be a full blown Freestyle comp, with judges and all the palava, or just some lunch time demo's, but if we get 4 or 5 guys wanting to actually compete, then we can do this.

Cabin Accomodation at the Rumble .... some news here.

It was looking a little slim on the cabins available to us, but we have just managed to strike up a deal with the Gliding Club .... we now have the ENTIRE Cabin block booked out for exclusive Rumble use. Thats both sides, and enough beds to sleep 44 people. So we need to fill em up.

If you marked "Camping" on your entry form because the cabins were looking a little full, then let us know asap so you can get in on the deal here.

Its $25 a night each person, and the cabins will be available as early as Wednesday night. If someone wants a cabin Tuesday night, we can probably also make that possible.

Because we now have the full block, there are some "slightly nicer" rooms for "couples" available ... in other words, the cabin doesn't have a couple of bunk beds in it, it has a double bed, and is a little bit more upmarket than the rest of the rooms. So you might think about bringing the Mrs now ? Or if you were thinking about slinking off to a Motel to get some piece and quiet, $25 a night each will be a lot cheaper

BTW - the Marque and all the partying is going to be over by the flightline ... a good 10 min walk away, so the Cabin area should in general be a lot quieter than in previous years.

Camping is still available at $18 a night.

Hi guys, I have decided to give this IMAC stuff a go for the first time.

I have a 89" Yak with a DLE55 and have just bought a 2.6M Extra with a ZDZ 80 which hopefully will be flying by the time of the event.

I'll enter in the BASIC class and try and not to embarrass myself - so go easy on me ....
