Sorry for your crash, that gp61 didn't sound very good in the video. The plane looked good though.

Problem is that all GP61's sound like that.I did have two of them, both sounded the same way,I could tell just what engine was being used, just by the sound of it.

Interesting you say that. I have a buddy with one and it sounds exactly the same. We have tuned it every which way but lose. Can not get it to run smooth like my DA60.

I know I tried everything too.Raised the main inlet spring pressure so to get it leaner.Set plug at .024,leaned it out till plug ran VERY lite gray, nothing work.Always sounded like it was going to quit running, just like in the video.I finally sold both of them at less than half price just to get rid of them.I read that some are going to smaller carbs which helps, also loosing rpm's too.Two of the worst engines I ever owned and I had them all except for a 3W.

tracking this one. i recall the decathlon prototype also crashing due to an engine failure, but that plane turmed out quite nice. perhaps a few good engines might help your cause in the formative stages. just a thought.

Watching this one closely. I have been very happy with Pilot RC and can only imagine a Valach 85 twin 4 stroke in this one

Picked one up at Joe Nall and a GP 76. Has anyone else out there flown one yet?

I've been flying the 87" for a couple of months and it flies great. I'm using a GP 123 for power and the performance is very good. It's not quite as stable in harrier as my 120cc Viking but still a decent 3D flyer. The quality is very good, my only complaint is like others have noted the Bulldog graphic on the top wing and fin are painted and chip easily.

Just started on mine, pretty straight forward. The DA-60 motor mounting template matches the GP-76. The cowl mounting method seems a little silly, exposed screws on the bottom and hard to reach hidden screws up top.

Are you sure the graphic is paint? Almost looks like a waterslide decal.
