Re: 3 Wives, 1 Wedding, Help Please!!!

All very logical proposals guys (and Wives) thanks. But we are dealing with emotions, and "Sister Wife" rivalry here. Logic probably won't work.

Right now I'm leaning toward the "pass-the-buck" solution as supported by many of you. It's my Son's wedding, it should be done the way he decides. It's his responsibility to handle his new Wife, her family, the Church, and the wonderful collection of Mothers I worked so hard to provide for him. (The ungrateful bugger should of thought about all I have done for him and eloped anyway.) I'm just there to support him in his choice, and pay my part of the wedding. This would be a great lesson in the challenges of keeping women happy for him.

Yeah, it might work, and if nothing else, I get to watch the little bugger squirm. Get some payback for the cost of college and Law School. Hell, what did he learn in law school anyway if he can't handle a simple case like this.

My evil plot is starting to take shape, I may get out of this one alive if I play my cards just right. I wish I had a Senate seat to sell or something. I think I'll invite him to dinner tonight, he can't resist a good (free) steak.

I'll keep you all posted on the game's progress......

MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

This is simple! Bribe the bride and Groom to elope. This will save far more money and headache in the long run for everyone!

Steve,

Leave it up to an agreed upon game of chance.

It's the only way any of the women will know you did not favor any of them.
It sounds like you guys have a fun relationship, so capitalize on that.

Explain that each has done a tremendous job of being a mother to your son, and there is no fair way of choosing a lady to do the deed...so....let's GAMBLE!

Put three cards under cups. One says "Walk son down isle", and other two say "Bahama's Cruse" .
Swirl them around and have the lovely ladies pick a cup. The fate of the situation lands on the lap of lady luck, and your off the hook.

Whacha think?

If not, you are lobble to end up having a redneck wedding with a bunch of women scratching and clawing and screaming and beatin one another during the ceremony lol.

If you have to relocate, would be more than glad to invite ya to Kentucky LOL.

Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

OH, make sure someone has a full video of the wedding as this is lobble to get real interesting.
Hey Dan-O!
Those girls stick together, if there is any scratching, clawing, and hair pulling, I'm afraid I will be the target.

Kentucky sounds nice.....

There will be video, and I'll be sure to post for all of your pleasure.

I would do it if it would work. They just went on a cruise together this summer. They even shared a cabin. I didn't go, too many people seem to go over the side of those cruise ships these days. I'm sure the three of them together could take me. I'm a good swimmer, but there is a limit to how long I can tread water. LOL!

I'm pretty sure they will go for that, They get escorted by the groom... it might work!

Does this sound like the plot for a sitcom, or maybe an episode on the twilight zone?

I can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Good Luck Steve
That is very close to my first suggestion, no sale. I don't get it, makes perfect sense to me. Maybe they are just playing me. Wouldn't put it past them, I probably deserve it. and they have done it before....

No use trying to run. I'm telling you they are like blood hounds. They would track me down, and corner me up a tree.

I really think I'm toast this time.

then... on wedding day... a Faux ER visit for chest pains!!

Know any good hollywood screen writers??? This is something Woody Allen could use!!!

I can almost feel your pain!

My oldest son is getting married in March. Now, through my life I have spoiled my children rotten. I have even gone as far as providing 3 Mothers for them. In general everyone gets along just fine. The wives are all friends, and call themselves "Sister Wives". They go shopping together, go on cruises together, and call each other when there are problems. We all make a point of having dinner together once a month. Now before you get the wrong idea, I'm not a polygamist, I'm more like a serial Mormon. I have to put up with all three of them, but only sleep with the current wife.

Anyway, my Son's wedding is full Catholic Mass. There is a place in the ceremony for the Father, and Mother of the groom (my Son). The bride's conservative parents, and the Church, are not comfortable with me marching down the isle with my collection of wives. Normally, I would just say, ladies work this out among yourselves and I'll go along with whatever you decide. When that doesn't work I can usually escape the wrath by writing a check to one or two of them. Not this time. Each of them is staking her claim to be included.

Wife 1: I gave birth to him, and you are definitely walking me down the isle.

Wife 2: I spent the best years of my life helping you raise those kids, and I am going to be honored for that.

Wife 3: I am your current wife, I helped raise the kids, and gave up having children of my own. You're not leaving me out, or you'll need a fourth Mother for those kids.

The last word I have from the "ladies" is, "You created this mess, you better come up with a solution".

I'm having dinner with the three of them tomorrow night. I need the wisdom of King Solomon to get me out of this one. I need your suggestions, or an offer of a place to move, or a Monastery that has an RC field. Maybe I'll get some Yapalanos and move in with Wesse in Sweeden or something.

Help, I'm really scared!

The wives are all right! Tell the church ro grow up! Have some balls.
Besides, if you piss the inlaws off now you won't have to associate with them after the wedding

Steve, et all, I appoligize if anyone took any offense to what I said. After reading Steves original post I couldnt help but to laugh a little having met Steve in person at the Shootout and seeing and knowing what a jokster he is sometimes, he keeps everyone laughing and I was just trying to vision all of this in my head.

In all seriousness as I said, I would hope that they would all think logically about this and know that most of the time the birth mother and father are the ones who ususally do all of this. Just as someone else suggested, maybe find a part for #2 and 3 to play in the wedding and it then would include everyone.

Good luck Steve !

Darn right, who does this Pope guy think he is anyway? He doesn't have even one wife to deal with. As Earl Butz's famous quote says, "He no play-a the game, he no make-a the rules", or something like that.

I have gave it a lot of thought, and I can't offer any reasonable advice, Steve. I'm going to send you a shovel. You have two options in which you can use it. You can either scoop your way through the poo or dig your own grave. LOL! Your screwed no matter how you approach this mess! LOL. All jokes aside, you're bright enough to figure out a rational plan and I'm sure you'll survive unscathed. Good Luck!!!

If they are sitting outside in a car, it will be a BMW that used to be mine. If they have money, that used to be mine too. I think I'm a reverse pimp. LOL!
