Which One SW or Pilot

I am looking at getting one of 3 planes. Skywing 73' Edge 540 V2, 73" Pilot Laser or the Pilot 78" Extra 330LX. I had a Pilot 78" 540 V3 and the quality is good but I have sent them several to try and get replacement wood for the Edge and also inquire about the Extra 330LX with no reply. So I am not impressed with Pilots customer service. The main question is the Skywing will cost about $100.00 more to build than the Pilot planes. Is the Skywing worth the extra $100.00

Skywing maybe 100 dollars more, but it's complete in terms of accessories, plus the quality is through the roof.

I sold all my other planes last year and replaced them all with Skywing Planes. I think you'll find many that did similar.

I had the 78” extra, it laster exactly 13 trim flights before the wing exploded causing a total loss of the airframe, 2-6s batts, motor and esc.

Wouldnt touch another one.

As JT said the list of accessories that come with the SW easily offset the additional cost.

I have owned many Pilots over the years. Iíve recently had the opportunity to examine SW, and speak with the owners. $100.00
Is inconsequential. Buy SW.

I have read that the Skywing planes are actually built in the Pilot factory. Iíve looked at both and they do look remarkably similar and the hardware looks identical.
Anyone know if this is true?

Totally not true.

The only thing they share is the tailwheel assembly.
