GP has spoken to me about doing a "limited edition" Embry-Riddle 580 kit. It's really very much the same scheme, just a blue belly and no splats on the wings or aft of the firewall. They have stayed on the horiz. tail but not the rudder. Then, next year we wil be doing a whole new paint design over the winter when we have more time. No idea yet what that will be.

Yes, just signed a deal with ERAU for 3 years.

And yes, will be at Sun N Fun on W, T, F flying formation with Mike mancuso.

That's if the paint dries in time

Re: Our own Matt Chapman

At about 4minutes and 10 seconds into this vid.....
Matt Chapman Aerobatics (5 min 51 sec)
you are in a left-to-right, left wing up KE and you do what looks like a sort of Goofy-Foot, shoulder roll'ish tucky thing....
I have done this a lot with my 40% Super Extra. Though with the model, doing it right-to-left with right wing up, (Right Rudder) seems to be WAAAAAYYYY Better..(then a let-to-right pattern). I dunno if it is a Gyroscopics thing or what the mechanism is... but for the model it makes a big difference... another thing that helps the model is I completely center the rudder for this maneuver during the roll and it seems to keep the nose high better.... (After all, 50% of the way thru, the rudder is pointing the plane down if it is held )....

Have you experimented a lot with this stunt??? Can you comment on why you choose a left-to-right orientation???

Thanks

mds

Prepare yourself Mith. The word "STUNT" will cause him to chastize you. Questioning his "Orientation"? OH my,,,,, PLEASE don't bring up Broadway showtunes, Barbara Streisand, the Way we were, the English Patient or the death of disco.
