Forget a bolt or was there a failure?

This was the H9 P47. The wing fit and tube fit problems were well documented. I choose a 30cc when 26 max was recommended - surprised- anyway it just proved too much for the airframe and the wing left the airframe in a hi-G maneuver. We saluted it on the way down

I know Marko... it has been collecting dust

Ive been putting off sending the retracts back but need to get them shipped. The Robart electrics completely stopped functioning and I put it to the side. I need to get her ready to fly again, will tear them out soon.

Sorry to see that Scootr. Some of the Hangar 9 products I've found to be lacking in fit and finish and other areas. At least some of the newer ones. I do emphasize "some" as there are some great Hangar 9 planes and all manufacturers have their quality "unicorns" so to speak. Their new 40 size P-51 with the 8cc is underpowered and sluggish. They should have put the 10 or 15cc in it as the airframe is robust, but just under powered. I also think there were some problems I heard about with the 30cc P-51 Blue Nose where the Yellow tail was a fabulous plane, they shouldn't have changed anything.

Anyway, glad to hear you have a foamy to "tide you over" until the P-47 is back together. And yes, trees do eat planes on occasion ;P
