I am wondering what kind of servo torque is needed for a trex450 with a 4 blade head. Doing my first 4 blade and cannot get it to lift off the ground. I started a thread elsewhere but got a little upset at people treating me like a total noob . So i find out over there that my head speed is way way to fast. So i think the prob is the servos i am using are being over powered by the way to fast headspeed. I have 14t and 16t gears on the way to switch out the 11 thats on it and maybe with the slower speed i can get lift, but until then someone should know what servo torque i need ? using corona ds918mp https://hobbyking.com/en_us/corona-d...-06sec-9g.html
on the low side i guess when compared to the old trex 450's with the align ds410's in them. so i was looking at these.

You are going the wrong way with your pinion if you want to lower the head speed. You need less teeth, not more.

I highly doubt this is the problem tho. Are you sure your collective isnt reversed?

Boy does that bring back a memory when my 700 wouldn't lift off until I went negative and up it went!

Does your heli seem to squat when you raise throttle/pitch?
