Its happened to my family - if it hasen't yet happened to you its only a matter of time right now given how bad the current surge is.

yeah, cancer isn't a joke, pneumonia isn't a joke... if we literally lived in fear of something that a family member has died of right in front of us, we would never walk outside...
i have watched friends die in a pilot error plane crash, yet i still pack my family in my airplane. just use your brain and you will be safe... its not the end of the world like you think...

I have... but I am not so selfish that I think the country/world should shut down for the tragedy of my family....

I am also truly sorry for your lost....but I have to go with the guys on this. When I was RoadRacing Bikes in an Endurance race , a fellow racer crashed and the race continued 4 more hours without us on the Track knowing he died till after the Race because officials wanted us thinking about what we were doing and not kill ourselves thinking about him. Covid is no Joke but the ones that live thru it have to have something left afterwards.

Approximately 1.35 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,700 people lose their lives every day on the roads. I still drive my car but I use common sense like wearing a seatbelt and following the speed limit. Same thing with Covid, I've lost family members to COVID as well but I still live my normal life. However, I use common sense by social distancing, carrying hand sanitizer everywhere I go, and I wear a mask when necessary.

You can believe COVID is real and serious and still live your life at the same time, its not mutually exclusive. If the decision was mine, and I'm thankful it wasn't, I would have continued with Perry and have a Mask Mandate at all times and maybe limit the number of people in each building. However, it's probably much easier just to postpone it like was done. Again, I'm glad it wasn't my decision to make as I'm sure it was quite difficult to make.

Unfortunately that's the reason why this is gonna take a looong time to be over.. people think it's a jike.. just kike you said.. until it is your mom, dad, friend, etc dying alone without being able to breathe In a hospital.

We are doomed my friend.

Actually about 38,000 people each YEAR die in traffic accidents in the US

More than 38,000 people die every year in crashes on U.S. roadways. The U.S. traffic fatality rate is 12.4 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants. An additional 4.4 million are injured seriously enough to require medical attention.

And I'm going to say you are FOS. The reason the event was cancelled wasn't fear, it was a club with a conscience. I'm proud to be a member of a club that did the right thing no matter the financial loss it has cost them.

I always look forward to Perry every year. However; right now i'm about 5 Perrys behind in my building so I'm going to see if I can catch up and put some planes together before it gets here again.

I'm betting next year it will be packed.
