Hi Nathan

You would be welcome to join but I guess your travel to the Kooralbyn strip might be a bit expensive if you are in Elkhart, IN.

The fees are in AUD however.

Cheers

It's a little cool here also as Mr Follies said we are in winter here and yesterday's max would also have been around 18 - 20 c min around 6 c.

Granted our winter's in Queensland generally are quite short they can on rare occasions get down to 0 c or even a little below overnight unlike where you come from.

Lets face it if it were to get really cold here what would happen to the kangaroos and koalas not to mention us Queenslanders who are not used to the cold at all.

Thanks for the kind words mate if you do get over this way you would be welcome to drop in and try flying in the southern hemisphere - you know that everything spins the other way down here.

Well we have a few visitors at the field this morning all were suitably impressed I think.

Clear skys and some cross wind were the order of the day.

No full size aircraft today I think the cross wind chased them away.

Thanks guys for a good display of flight control in what was quite turbulent conditions.

Regards

John M.

If you were an Aussie you would know.

If you go to the MAAA website and look up the appropriate MOP it will reveal all.

http://www.maaa.asn.au/maaa/mop/form...ZE%20WINGS.pdf

http://www.maaa.asn.au/maaa/mop/form...Nov%202009.pdf

Without getting into a whole debate, generally a model pilot would need Gold wings proficiency to fly at a public event.

Hope that helps.
