1/4-32 plug cap trouble

hi all..
Just setting up a RCGF 20cc twin and having trouble getting the plug caps on. They won't even push on enough to cover the hex portion of the plug. At this point it feels pretty loose like the only thing keeping it on is the silicone boot inside the cap.
What am I missing here?
Thanks
Marc

Go to an Auto parts store and buy a tube of Dielectric Compound Or Grease . Put a small amount in the Spark Plug cap and press it on. This will help to put the cap on and easier to remove when that time comes.

Hope this helps.

You have to push HARD to get the cap all the way on. The cap will cover the hex portion of the plug.

You have to push hard... then that 1/8 turn twist at the end

Thanks, all..
I was able to push it on. It just took a little more pressure than I'm used to on CM 6 plugs.

FWIW......there are at least "Two" types of these caps; the straight push/on type & the push/on/turn/to/lock type.......again FWIW

I requested that they make this for the small plugs but didn’t know they made them. Just ordered one!
