Dan Landis took this Top Flite P-47 and detailed it out! He changed out the graphics to make it a Little Demon scheme and detailed in some scale features like panel lines, rivets, nacelles and bombs. It's weathered and even has a static prop. It just goes to show with a little work, you can turn an ARF in a masterpiece. This model is running a DLE 61 with JTEC Muffler and spins a Xoar 2 blade prop. It has Futaba radio gear using SBUS connected to Dan's Futaba 18MZ for control. You'll be able to check out this model in person and see if fly next month at Joe Nall.

The Uproar V2 is a new old school style ARF with some modern twists. It's designed to run on a .46 to a .55 size nitro engine or you can build it out with electric power. It looks like a sport plane from years past but the side force generators on the wing tips give it some modern flare. The wing is a 2-piece design and the fuse has a nice hatch for access to your battery or other electronics. It comes in solid white trim so you can make it your own with graphics or you can use the included decal set if you like. The ARF costs just $99!
This thing is huge and a looker! The Phoenix model Lysander ARF has a 126" wingspan with a two piece wing and it's designed for a 50-55cc gas engine. You could make it electric too if you want. The wheel pants and cowling are made from fiberglass and painted and the dummy radial engine looks really nice. It runs $549 and we should see this thing in the air next month at Joe Nall.

The Tower P-51's seen here are some really nice flyers and they now have a few updated models and trim schemes. In their stock form you get fixed landing gear, but you can easily upgrade it to electric retracts as well as add flaps for an even more scale appearance. There are 4 different trim schemes now, Miss America, Berlin Express, Silver, and a hot new Red Racer. These are receiver ready models for just $119. Leave the glue in the bottle as you don't need any to build these.
