50CC IMAC PLANES TUNED PIPE READY OPTIONS?

I have a brand new BME 58 Xtreme with a ES Composites Carbon tuned pipe and am planning on flying IMAC basic! What planes are available that are tuned pipe ready I notice a lot of manufactures say pipe ready but they are canister ready? Any input greatly appreciated!

All of our 50cc aircraft are. The Extra 300 is probably the best of our offerings for IMAC competition, although we have had many wins with our Yaks as well. See here: http://www.extremeflightrc.com/html/rewards.html

Extreme Flight 88" Yak and Extra. One of my friends has an EF Extra with a BME 58 and ES pipe. It fits right in no problem.

For IMAC, go with the Extreme Flight 88" Extra 300. It is rock solid, fights the wind well, snaps beautifuly, tracks impecably well, and is the highest quality arf that you'll find! I highly recomend it! There's a reason that's what I fly!
There are many great 50cc planes out there, but IMO you won't find a better one for IMAC!
Your 58 with the tuned pipe will be awesome on that plane! I have a DA-50 with a KS 1060 on mine, and it has very good verticle performance. Your 58 will be even better! Also the Extra has a built in pipe tunnel, and instalation is very easy.
Hope this helps!

I would Sell the BME & Carbon Pipe, and Buy my Carden CUDA with a DA-50 and MTW Canister, Fly Basic with that.

If you are looking for options, Ohio Model Products will have next month three 50cc planes that are canister ready. The Yak SP-55M, Extra 300 midwing, and MX2. Don't get the Cuda, it is too heavy compaired to the newer generation planes from Extreme flight, Aeroworks and OMP. OMP's website is www.ohiomodelplanes.com.

That plane will be EXCELENT too! You can't go wrong with either! The Extra is just a little longer, and that'll help a little in IMAC, but those two planes along with their Yak are THE best! I can't recomend them enough!
Btw, I'm not a team pilot that has to say this stuff. I'm just giving you my honest opinion, and am speaking from experience!

I'm not trying to be rude Daniel so please don't take it that way, but you say "speaking from experience". Is that experience with many types? I know you have lots of experience with the Extreme Flight 300 and you talk up its attributes every chance you get, but how does it compare with similar types of similar sizes? I ask because it's on my shortlist to purchase.

Thanks,
Brad

Re: 50CC IMAC PLANES TUNED PIPE READY OPTIONS?

Yup, No 50cc plane that I've flown compares to it in IMAC. I haven't flown an AJ Slick, but I know that it's an excelent plane too. The EF will just fight the wind a little better, and doesn't have any coupling. There are many awesome 50cc airplanes out there, and we all have our opinions. Personaly, a plane couldn't fit my style better than the EF Extra 300, and I know many people who feel the same way.
Sorry if I got a little over zealous about it. I was just giving my opinion.
Thanks!

Re: 50CC IMAC PLANES TUNED PIPE READY OPTIONS?

I've owned or flown most of the 50cc planes (EF, QQ, AW, WH, SD, 3DHS, etc.). My favorites are the Extreme Flight Extra and Yak. I have a hard time deciding which one I like better. I sold my 88" Yak about a year ago and miss it. I plan to buy another one in the near future. I've been flying my 88" Extra for close to 2 years and it's Awesome. I looked at the EF Edge at the Joe Nall, but I haven't got a chance to fly one yet. It looks great and I bet it's going to fly great too if it's anything like the others. I like how stable and predictable the EF planes fly. I don't mind doing waterfalls and pulling out of flat spins within a few feet of the ground because I have confidence in the way the plane is going to react.

Here is a clip of my Extra from a couple weeks ago.
Extreme Flight 88" Extra (6 min 24 sec)

Here are some pictures of my Extra and some of my friends.
