Extreme Flight 70" Extra 300EXP V2 for sale pvt pty.

HI gang.

I have this plane, brand new in the unopened box.
I wanted a 30-70cc size. At time of purchase I wasn't told this was a 20cc size. Just that my DLA32 would fly it v. well. But I want the larger plane. I'm in San Diego. Mitch

Ya, is the price right on the website? I would have thought it would be cheaper considering it is on the smaller side for a 30cc.

It is a 30cc size plane, the 20cc was just one of the options.

I got some work done on my 70” Extra. What a super nice kit! These planes are such a marvel of engineering.
So far I’ve got my hinges done, control horns and servos installed. Here’s some pics.
I’m loving the interlocking stab feature, also like the thumb screws and canopy mount, and the control horn slots are all cleaned out and everything is going together perfect.

Looking good.. Is that servo arm okay being on such a angle? I just ask cause i got mine all straight as i could on my 35% cause i had always heard they need to be straight as possible, but you would loose lots of movement if you did cause you would need to be on the inside hole.

That servo arm is exactly how it should be-90 degree to the servo case. If you angle the arm to make it 90 to the linkage, it would be offset and introduce mechanical differential.

For best resolution use the shortest hole that gives you the needed throw at max ATV/end point on the radio.

Nice build.

Although that is a typical setup it does create differential. In the installation shown it will have more up than down. The length of the arm makes it a non issue.

Buddy of mine just grabbed one of these and first thing we noticed is the color match is way off for the canopy yellow. Anyone else have this issue ?

I have the 104" Extra and it matches when outside in the sunlight, but in the garage it looks like yours. Have you looked at it in the sunlight?

Mine doesn’t have any color variation issues that are noticeable. I got it finished but can’t maiden till next weekend. Can’t wait to fly it! It balances perfectly with The XPower 30, 12s 3300 batteries, CC 120 and 2550 rx batt behind wing tube. That’s using the suggested measurement on wing, I won’t know for sure till I fly.
Here’s a couple more pics.
