AJ Laser 60" or EF Laser 60" which one should I get?

Which one of these planes should I get.

I already own a 74" EF Laser and a 91" EF Extra. I heard the AJ planes are as good or in the same class as the Extream Flight models.

The EF 60" Laser EXP is one of my favorites. It flies so light, precise, and aggressive. Plus, you can't go wrong with the scale Leo scheme But if that's not for you, a yellow and blue scheme is available as well.

Sounds good Jase. I was thinking the same thing. It would match my 74". Win win. How about the electronics? The same as on EF website? Feel free to pm me.

I'd take an AJ laser no question. Incredible quality, unreal precision, and top rate support. (Also available in two schemes)

Yes, the Torque 4016T/500 motor and Airboss 80amp ESC is the way to go. Purchasing the airframe and power combo is an excellent idea. It saves a ton of money from just purchasing a motor or ESC separately. I personally like the Xoar 16x7 prop and MKS HV9767 servos. 6S 3300-3700mah battery is recommended.

Another quick question. Are the CA hinges up to the task or is anyone installing Robart hinges instead?

I've had them both and did side by side comparison. Both are very capable but for some reason my aj60 was just abit better all around. I tried to have them setup as close as i could to each other. I sold the aj to get ef edge and regret it. Kept my ef laser but everytime i fly it i wish it was my aj again

I too really like the EF 60 Laser. I own several EF 60" EXP planes and the Laser is my favorite, I just got the 74" version and when the 91" version comes out I will own it too. The plane is just a great design, combine it with the Torque 4016/Airboss 80 the setup is plug and play with great power.

AJ Laser 60 - I have this plane in the patriot scheme. Have put about 30 flights on it. Terrific flying plane. Construction is top-notch. I've had other EF models in this size (Edge, Yak) and my opinion is the AJ is better built. Its light but solid.

I'm a huge fan of the AJ Aircraft 60" Laser! Excels in all aspects of 3D and Precision, I really enjoy the way it flies!

I have not owned or known anybody with the AJ but cannot be much different than the EF Laser regarding CA hinges. I use the CA hinges and no problems. In fact I only use the stock ones, some replace the stock CA hinges with Radio South but that is personal preference.
