Hitec Aurora 9 Issue
I seem to have a knack for finding unusual issues and I have another now.
I recently installed an RCCSKJ Red Power Box in my 35% Hostetler RV-4. I am using my tried and trusted Hitec Aurora 9 with an Optima 9 Receiver. Here is my issue. I have the throttle cut set on channel 8 and a momentary switch on the transmitter. The power for the ignition is run directly thru the power box. Each time I turn the power off to the receiver and back on the switch function has to be reversed for it to function properly. Any ideas ? |

Thata a function of the RCCSKJ boards. What ever switch position you have on your TX is default to Off.. so if your switch is up, then that will be the off position.
Rccskj boards also drop off the ignition through vibration. It's strange but true. They are junk. |

I have found that I have to hold the throttle cut switch (a momentary switch) on my transmitter to the "off" or "throttle cut" position before I turn the power on to the receiver and power box and then release it after it is powered up. It works properly this way.
Certainly not ideal I would agree. I have contacted Redwing for help and I will report back when they reply. |
