Please help identify

This engine was on a lanier giant stinger 84 inch that I am trying to get back in the air. looking for info on the engine that was on it.

throttle coupled advance.... IMHO, scrap it and put a DA on.... unless you like tinkering and dead stick landings....

All true but there are other choices beside DA, like GP, DLE, Stinger, EME among others that are more powerful and dependable.

I had one back in the day, no ignition was provided, I used a CH electronic advance ignition. About as much power as a G62 and very smooth running. Was a bear to start. I think today with cylinder head temperature telemetry one could dial the carbs in much better. Mine was in an Ace 33% Extra 230. Flew as good as anything else during the time.
