Sweet video man. I've been trying to learn this on my own last summer and do as you describe with the off time and get flustered because no one is around to teach me this. I've got to say ive learned alot replaying this video and doing the canopy up reference with the timing will help alot man. Thank you for taking the time to help us better understand the inputs on the moves we all have been jelous of at the field and watch others do!

All I had to do was to put the batteries all the way at the motor box, and run pull pull on the rudder. I didn't do any additional modification. CG right now is around 3D neutral (hands off upright and inverted).

If you're running a DA120, then maybe use an aluminum spinner or a Vess balance ring to add a tad more weight on the nose. Running a carbon prop would accomplish that purpose as well.

That'll be in the Rolling Harrier 102 . Basically time your max elevator deflection at the perfect time that the canopy is facing straight up.

ahhh cool...i did learn some stuff from the vid, thanks, i know its cheating and not doing it the correct way, but so far the only way i got rolling circles(not rolling harrier) going was just using elevator, still working on throwing in rudder, if i do a slow roll i can get rudder pretty good, just havnt found that stir yet i guess, i think i end up with both rudder and ele at throw at same time instead of one being more centered while the other is deflected, maybe almost like a snap or something, just got to keep going with it

i would love to practise my rolling harrier together with some blenders , knife edge spins and everything else !
the only thing is , i fly with gas and ailerons on the right and rud/stab on the left so i can`t profit from your clinics films thats a bummer for me

hope to find some films with a TS that fly`s my stickmode .

cheers !

yeah ! aint that the truth

i think i saw all of his footage on youtube and the www and this boy means busyness !
i did not see that he had footage where they filmed his sticks while doing so .
thanx for the tip anyway .
i`m going to translate the tuturals from FG and make a little notebook to take with me at the field , then i will train step by step how to master the figures
this is my second season flying big scale and its going well , i fly 4 point rolls , slow rolls , knife edge , blenders , flatspins and i hoover at 30 / 40 feet .
at this time i`m trying to master harriers , harrier rolls and the next thing i want to master is torque rolling.
so you can se , i will have my hands full if i want to improve the things i already know and master the things that i want to learn.
one step at a time , and it will get better every week .

cheers !
