Thanks. I didn't have the "eyebrows" on it yet in those pics. Here it is all finished. If anybody needs a 1/4 scale engine kit like the one in my pics, let me know because I have an extra one.

I guess I was thinking that it would be cool to have a 3d Cub Flying Gallery Thread with setup essentials, radio tweaks, and flying tips for those who are getting into this unusual and perverse art form. Please post Pics if you got 'em and video is always good too![/QUOTE]

Great thread......Fixing to pull the trigger on a World Models 1/4 scale clipped wing cub, just not sure what engine yet. Mine will be on floats and I'm going to need something with good pull out of a hover. Leaning towards a 40cc or 35cc engine. It must 3D !!!!

You can't beat a WM cub! I flew the WM cub with the jc23cc today, it will hold a hover for around 5 to 6 seconds then starts to fall off using a 18*6 carbon prop. The jc23evo has plenty of power for aerobatics but its needs the jc30evo for 3d performance. I might just throw the 30cc on it sometime this winter or put a jc30evo on an rv4
![]() I'd love to put the jc120evo on a 1/3 scale but I got a clipped wing cub and a taylorcraft so I don't need anymore planes of that type. |
