That canopy sure looks like the one Carl Goldberg models used. But jm mac is right it sure looks like a Kaos. I had two and they were fun planes to fly.

Looks like a kaos but is off a bit. A friend of mine built up a 35 year old kit last year and it is a bit more svelte.. Fuse is slightlty less boxy and doesnt have the change in taper as abrupt aft. Also the kaos appears to. Have a bit higher aspect ratio. Ie less chord..

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to get some more pictures and weigh the plane. I will post the new info later.I'm thinking it would take at least a .90 size engine to pull this one.I'm leaning more toward the idea that someone enlarged some plans to get this size.
Thanks

Help identify this plane

Bridi did a bunch of R and D with the Kaos but I don't think this is one of them. The first Kaos was open nosed, then closed up and retract equipped with a vertical fin and rudder ala the P51. The wing on this plane looks to be the same framing method and it looks flat across the top with the dihedral only on the bottom. If it's triple tapered its Super Kaos.
Some guys in California built a bunch of these of all sizes from .049 to 120. My guess is if it's a Kaos it's 120 to 150% size.
Smiles gents
