Seriously, why do you have to bring this intellectual discussion down by infusing party politics into a discussion revolving around much about life that you have yet to experience.(like voting, taxes, murder, etc.)

Because teenagers know everything. I have a preteen (11) and he knows everything... Once they get out into the real world and pay taxes they will realize they didnt know a damn thing about anything. Fiddy...you are a rare breed...I find it interesting that most college students tend to be Democrats. Most of it is because they are entrenched by very liberal professors. They are afraid of war and have know real idea what it is like to support a family other than the sorry sap stories they here in commercials during election time. They graduate from college and get that first job that pays 50k plus a year...and find out its not much more than when they made $10.00 an hour as a waiter / waitress. Where did all my money go...Man...they just took out that much in taxes. Whos idea is this? Then...they look at how government does things and realize it is extremely inefficient. Man...money that I work hard for...more than 50 to 60 hours a week in a lot of cases goes to pay for some sap who is too lazy to find a job and sits home making babies so they can collect big welfare checks. Or..your tax dollars going to study the mating habits of the red throated heat seaking one eyed wonder worm to the tune of 5 million dollars. It all hits home then...

Well, I hate to admit it... but I think the entire speaker list was better last night than tonight. They should have mixed it up a little better. I guess they didn't want anyone to overshadow McCain on his most important night.
