I believe that your daughter will enjoy her visit Athens.
This is a city that never sleeps and has a unique combination of antiquity and a modern (noisy) vibrant city.
Let me know what kind of holiday you have in mind and I can certainly make recommendations.

So, I'm living in Clermont-Ferrand, in center of the country.
I've haven't yet a big scale model, but my father use an Jodel Robin DR-400 with 62cc Zenoah engine for sailplane towing.. and for pleasure too !

He have give me his old Quadra Engine (should be a 35cc, maybe 42cc, I have to check) to restore.
If the engine run again one day, I'm interested to fly with a Rearwin Speedster 6000 1/4 or 1/5

Kits are difficult to find, I don't want a RTF A/C. A short kit should be the top for me, but the price.... So, maybe I'll found a good "blueprint", a friend of me have a "CNC", maybe we can do a personnal short kit..

By the way, first step, repair and restore the engine !
