of the seventeen 25 to 40 percent 3D planes I have assembled and flown over the past 16 years, exactly ZERO of them had tight cables beyond 5'ish degrees of rudder travel....

Zero have had a rudder flutter problem!

Cables need to be tight around neutral....

Aero-forces keep tension on the "Pulling" cable past only a few degrees of deflection.

Mith, this is well established. Surprising that people still comment about a loose cable causing doom.

Offset servo arms are normally for criss crossed cables and straight arms are for straight cables. If the servo arm is 4 inches, the control horn needs to be 4 inches as well. As the Mith says, the slack on the non pulling cable during rudder deflection is not an issue.

David,

I've been using your pull pull software program for years. You should be nominated for the Noble Peace Prize in science for this.

Thanks - J Tab
