got the engine running. First balance attempt wants about 2 lbs added to the front.

A successful maiden flight. CG was good with 2 lbs lead in the nose. Good rates using recco low rates. Plenty of power with DLE55. More flights to come - maybe video and bomb drop

My EME-60 with Auto Start is install in the A-1 Skyraider. Fit Great inside the cowling.

That's great. Starter will help with balancing issue too.

Maybe cut the spring inside the strut. I just 4 links off.

How is the performance with the DLE55? I'm thinking either the 55 or the DLE61. Both are the same size, but the 61 is about AU$100 more.

Dle 55 and 60 is plenty of power,
