You could probably get it down to maybe 900 but I would suggest to keep it at least 12 or 1300.

No sir it does not void the new engine warranty. Valley View RC is the only service center certified by DLE and we have never replaced a cylinder due to the Bowman rings. If the ring would damage the cylinder we would replace it at no charge if the engine was still under warranty.
Thank you

Your the only dealer that will stand behind the warranty when going Bjorn rings. That's defiantly a plus when choosing a engine. DA will remove them when they service a engine. EME will void the warranty with Bjorn rings and so as GP.
They just can't guarantee someone else's product quality.
I use them in all of my gas engines before I even start them up.I removed the new DA rings after they service the engine for new Bjorns.

Ok, thanks for good info. I've placed an order for four 30/60 rings

Combustion differences

I just dismantled the cylinders to see. I'm waiting for the Bowman's. Now, look at the differences. The left ones are almost clean, and there is no soot below the ring gaps. The brown one is the right reas. Also, there is soot below both rings. Motor has run some five litres.

Bowman's installed today. Motor is Perfect. Just like that. Fired up directly. Idle steady at 1100 rpm from first attempt. Ran it for 45 minutes between 1100-2500. The last 12 min at 1150. No hazzle. Throttles like a scared cat

Wonderful to hear but now I would be pissed to having to do that to a new engine to get it running right. I plan to get mine flying this weekend and will give numbers then.

No hazzle at all. 10 minutes work. Many motors benefits using these rings. Pic shows two of the original rings. They have different gaps and ditto tension. I'll fly mine too this weekend if weather allows it. Forecast says rain on Saturday..

Was at the field with it today and got video!!
DLE120 T4 Idle and Run (0 min 40 sec)

Also on anther note-the twitchiness of the plane turned out to be an issue with the transmitter as the firmware wasn't really giving enough expo at the start. Flysky had a update and she flies like a dream now.

That idle rpm is just incredible. My motor is now steady at 1150. Ten minutes on idle without touching the stick. Then it throttles directly to top rpm without a cough. I've had it as low as 850, but not for more than two or three seconds. No way possible to keep it running that low long enough time to call it "idle".

Canisters

I need to install canisters. Anyone who makes headers for this engine?

Edit; Headers on it's way

Zimmermann headers

I installed Zimmermann headers. They built them on my instructions, and they fit perfectly. I now run the engine with 3W canisters, and the sound is immaculate. Also now, I reach all four needles on the carbs 😃
