I'm looking for a recoil starter for my Zenoah G20 Ei engine. I looked and searched and can't find it anywhere. I see them on the helicopters. Anyone have any links or information on where I can find one?

Do you mean a spring starter or a pull-cord recoil starter? Recoil starters are not used, to my knowledge, in planes due to the added weight and danger. The 20EI was made to be lightweight with electronic ignition rather than magneto + heavy flywheel.

Some other large Zenoah's with magneto ignition (and US Engines, Quadra, etc) were available with a spring recoil assist starter, I doubt that was the case with the 20EI. You will find some of those spring starter replacement parts here: http://www.bennettbuilt.com/shop/Eng...cessories.html

Recoil starter assembly. The heli guys use them, I can't seem to find them though. I have posted in the helicopters forms.
