Jim Leroy

Jim Leroy crashed his plane at the Dayton air show today and died in route to the hospital. He and Skip Stewart were performing their dual show "Mary's Lamb" (I believe thats the name).
Prayers to his family and everyone involved.

Extremely sorry to hear this,

May God Bless Jim's family and friends during this terrible time. My prayers will be with all of those effected as they struggle to accept their loss.

Man... prayers go out. This is really horrible. Very very sad.

It really shows you how brave these guys who fly full scale aerobatics really are.
This is a reality everytime they get into the airplane. No matter how calculated, there is always a chance. Man... very sad day... very sad.

Re: Jim Leroy

It almost looks like when he pulled up after that last snap that his wing tips stalled. You could see them rocking. So he probably stalled it into the ground. He was close to pulling out. Amazing that a simple spin too many took him out. He has done way crazier things.
