Didn't notice any old guys in the vid, and isn't that an oxymoron?

Looking forward to getting one of these in the new year. I have an Eight Park 450 and a 480. Which would be the better of the two to use?

Thanks,

Keith

A park 480-1020 KV would be a very good match. It won't have quite as much power as the recommended motor but it will fly it well.

Well I wasn't able to get to building this plane until today but so far I am very impressed with the build of this plane. Goes together really fast, maybe just a little longer than a regular Twisted foamy. I am using the recommended power system and the optional aluminum motor mount. For glue I am using Foam Tac which is very easy to work with. I should be able to finish this one tomorrow evening.

Well all done and ready for the maiden!!!! If you haven't ordered one yet you should because this thing brings the word foamy to another level. Going to fly it with what I have right now, 40C turnigy 2200's but just ordered some 65C pulse 2250's. Should be awesome.

Great news Jay.

And, nice choice on the Pulse 65C Packs... put your seatbelt on

I had a Glacier (30C 2200) and compared it and for sure the Pulse packs are way more powerful.... like a whole lot!

I am considering running Thunder Power 70C 2250 batteries.
Has anyone tried these batteries yet on this foamy?

Full disclosure, Cody and I do fly for Pulse . I'm not sure the performance would be much improved for such a small difference in the rated discharge rate. I'm positive the TP Magna packs are quite nice however they cost about $20 more than the Pulse (57.99 versus 38.99).

Let us know how it goes. Video might help folks interested in the TP Magna packs to see the performance.

Looks good Gary.
Where did you get the spinner?
What did the RTF weight come in at?

I had almost everything already but I bought the NTM 100g, 1100 kv motor. The "spinner" nut came with it. The AUW with a 3S 2200 batt is 26oz.

It looks like a SpotOnRC Deans bulkhead mount.

I'm not sure about Aztech's status but they show in stock:
