At least it proves I read it!
There is nothing incorrect about the use of the word insure in this instance. In this context, they obviously meant to take the necessary actions or steps. I read it too.

Maybe they will eventually all be made in Malaysia, but I do not believe that to be the case at this time
in the past I bought Futaba servos from Tower
the case bottom was engraved with made in China text however there was a sticker above in which you could read made in Taiwan

unfortunately there is no other place to buy from but I would not do business with them anymore #BOYCOTTJRA
I think they just stopped the RC business, although I can't believe they spent $40 millions on 3D printers...

Don’t read too much into that, Taiwan and China have an interesting relationship, the use of the made in China sticker is probably more political than anything else, China does not recognise Taiwan as a country, is still considered it part of China. So for China, it is made in China, for the rest of the world, it is made in Taiwan.

Didn't they have some proprietary legal issues?

Taiwan is actually a part of and governed by China.

100% incorrect, as well as being 100% correct. Taiwan is in China, it is ruled by Chinese. But it is not part of the mainland and is independent of the mainland. Both the ROC ( Taiwan) and PRC ( Mainland China) claim to be the legitimate government of both parts, in reality, they are run as 100% separate countries. They have a difficult relationship with each other obviously.

My reference was not at all in relation to where either of the landmass are. It goes without saying that water separates the two... And both are in fact ruled by 1 country - China. But 2 separate governments, yes it is a lil complicated.

The PRC claims Taiwan as part China. Two separate governments. Taiwan has its own government.

No, they are not. Basically the ruling party fled mainland China for the island of Formosa, ( then part of China) during the communist revolution, since then they have not cooperated on anything, have few formal diplomatic ties and are always on the edge of going to war with each other. PRC considers the island a breakaway province, ROC considers themselves to also be the legitimate rulers of the mainland too. “Both ruled by one country” couldn’t be further from the truth if you tried. They have as much in common with each other now as Cuba and the USA.

Really....does it really matter ?..... Whether the JR products come from Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, or BF Egypt....as long as we can still get the quality JR products as we have for years.

Thank you. I'm glad someone finally said it. Companies have formed, merged, dissolved and gone bankrupt since the beginning of time. This will not change anytime soon. Critical changes were necessary to continue the supply of great products we all enjoy. You either embrace it, or you don't. I look forward to the new developments we will see in the JR radio line in the future.
