Oregon Judging School March 31

After talking with Keith, it looks like we can make an Oregon Judging school happen on March 31.
The reason for the date is that it's 2 weeks after the Wenatchee judging school and 2 weeks before Polar Bear. Keith has volunteered to instruct (thanks Keith) and will travel from Spokane.

This is a single day event with no flying demo due to myriad of possible logistical and weather headaches. If you really want a two day event, then please consider the Wenatchee seminar.

So far, I have counted about 9 pilots from the Portland area and about 5 from Medford. We really need a minimum of 15 because we will not ask Keith to travel 600 miles round trip to to instruct 7 guys. We have room for up to 30 or more attendees.

After we get the location finalized, Keith will put the "Oregon Judging School" on the IMAC website and then we can start pre-registering.

More details to follow

Off-hand, I count at least 13 active imac pilots in the metro area.

I just talked to our Operations director and I still need to speak with our General Manager......we may be able to utilize our facility's training room. Our office is right off the freeway (kinda) in Tualatin which is just 15 miles north of Woodburn (I know Jim Robb would love this...he's only a couple min away). We have a large room with video and audio support. Lunch could be delivered via several sources. I will talk to our GM next week and see if this is viable. If the Woodburn library is unconfirmed, we may be able to use this as a back up.

Chris, PLEASE YES, check into the Tualatin facility. Woodburn will NOT work because of their restricted hours. I was going to try the Wilsonville libarary (which looks very nice), but it will cost about $80 to rent for Saturday.
