Just announced a Low Cost, High Quality CNC Machine

Hey guys... would anyone be interested in this for $4000.00? This is the prototype and it's already sold.
Features...
Interlocking all-aluminum construction.
Ridgid 1.5 HP compact router spindle with mount(may change upon request).
Ball Screw and supported rail drive system for minimum flex and optimum accuracy.
Steel enclosure control box with fused on/off switch and provisions for limit switches, spindle, flood, mist etc.
USB 4-axis controller with support for transformation matrix (see www.planet-cnc.com for details on the Mk 2/4 controller)
Affordable, dual layer and easy to change MDF top.
Cutting size 30 x 38 roughly.

Can this be programed with conventional CNC 'G' codes? What are the accuracy specs and what kind of warranty.

My advice, lose the router and install a spindle. They are just too noisy and a bit DIY. Even an air cool is better than that.

Second, looks great for machining ply and other sheet, , but there doesn't seem enough height for a vacuumed bed which for me is obligatory.

Also, how would small pieces be clamped? slots machined into the surface that clamped could be slotted into would help?

I am sure Pitor would be more than welcome to answer your questions and entertain your suggestions. As I had stated this was the prototype and changes will be made to it, We are just getting it going and I am handling some of the advertising for him.
