LOL! You are the best Wayne! I have to admit that I am tempted to dive into this as well.

The radio & power system that I intend to use are:
JR 28X DMSS with two 712BX receivers with output through the XBUS ports into a PowerBox Champion SRS unit. For the radio system I'll be using two P/Box 4000Mah LiPo batteries which have integrated charging/balancing systems incorporated within. For the turbine, I have the new P/Box Power Pak Pro 2500 Mah which is an 12.6v system, also incorporating a complete balancing/charging system. |

Wayne, thank you for your time spent in scale aerobatics. I will likely remain there
for a long time and I really enjoy it. I have noticed that some eventually move on to other ends of the hobby. It seems you almost have to be young to win there. you contributed much to scale aerobatics and I am thankful for it. Enjoy your new endeavor Wayne!! |

The biggest thing to remember Wayne is Throttle = Altitude, Elevator = Airspeed. Beyond that, and the obvious speed differences, there is literally nothing challenging about flying a jet. Oh.. one other thing.. NEVER push a bad approach. If you're not happy with the approach, go around. If you're not going to land where YOU want to land, go around. I've been flying turbines for 15 years.. They're not difficult, just different. You'll be fine. One last thing.. just because they CAN go really fast, doesn't mean they MUST go really fast.. Nothing wrong with cruising around at 1/2 throttle.. in fact it makes pushing it up to top speed more impressive if you haven't been blazing around the whole time.
I currently own and fly a BVM Ultra Bandit with a JetCat P-200, and SebArt min-Avanti with a Kingtech K-45G2, and am building a DerJet F-35A with a Kingtech K-120G2.. Jets are FUN! |

There are many others who contributed to the organization to develop it. SOMETHING needs to be done to bring back the numbers.... This morning, March 27, 2018, the USA has 495 members.....The lowest I have ever seen! On January 13, 2019, the count is down further to 447, and this is just after a World Championship year. Canada has fallen from 61 to 47. On June 11, 2020....the count for USA is at 388. I hope someone is paying attention? |

Matt Balazs sent me his program that he has on his FUTURA and I'll use that as a template to work on this. I won't have to start from scratch....However, some of his programming "boggles" the mind!! Wayne |

Well he has flight modes for the vectored thrust too which you wont need.
If you want to meet up at Sky Ranch in Hinesville let me know and I'll drag Danny and Adam up for a day of jet flying and we can get your waiver done at the same time. |
