Well when you look at the thin interlocking ply that holds the roof on, I'm not surprised the cabin flexes enough to pop a window. Look at any large deck on a house, you'll see cross bracing. There is none on the inside of the cabin to support those huge wings.

Gp61 on the timber

Finished mine up today.
Ready to maiden.
Build was pretty easy other than it's pretty tight getting everything in there.
Also had to cut the cowl up pretty good to accommodate the muffler.
I will plan on getting the upgraded landing gear from the xcub 60cc. With some larger tires..
Great plane all together and I'm super excited about it.

Looking good! I may have a break in the weather at the end of the week to maiden mine. It's been pretty nasty rain and wind lately!

Flys great . I literally didnt have to trim a single thing. Flew it again today . It's a fun plane .
It does some great rolling circles with full ailerons.
Does good pop tops. I havent got any braver yet as it's just been a windy mess around here. I've always had all out 3d planes but I can tell this thing is one of my favorites already . It just looks so cool and flys great.

You'll need to go with a pitts. As far as which pitts is best or least invasive I'm guessing they're all close. I know putting these bigger engines on make it a little hard to not hack the cowl all up.

Slimline has some that have the exhaust port area cut down. Look at their warbird options.

Rimfire 1.70 setup & installation

When using the recommended Rimfire 1.70 + Talon 120HV combo, what are the suggested Castle Link ESC programming settings (motor timing, PWM rate, etc.). Cheers

Lookin Good! Mine came out nose heavy, go figure. Maidened mine on Wednesday! Nice!
I have six ounces in the tail so far.
Do you have the LE devices on yet? I haven't put mine on yet.
My will wing stall, predictable... but takes a little bit to recover if you let it spin. Getting better as I move the CG aft. It's somewhere behind the tube now, have not hung it again to verify where it is.

I feel like it was perfect with the stock landing gear.
I think the xcub gear made it slightly nose heavy and now that I've installed the airtop 8" tires it's just a little more nose heavy . Gonna move batteries back a little.

How are you going about adding weight...where are you putting the weights. I have sticky weights but I'd like to hide them if I have to add em.
