Hi,as this new extra330sc fuselage doesn t seem to be much different than the old 330sx,do somebody knows if by chance the cowl and the canopy hatch of the 330sc fits the 330sx ,just in order to make a visual upgrade

Great question. Cool idea.

I'm guessing your Sales Rep may know. Send them an email and let us know what you find out.

It's a Secraft product Dean.

I asked my rep,and according what he said, the cowl fits exactly the same, and there is just a little work to do on the front of the canopy hatch to fit ,so I think that as soon as those replacement parts will be available (around 3 months)I'm going to pimp it

doubleloop,

Be sure and post pictures as you "pimp it". I'm sure others would be very interested in how your turn your SX into an SC.

Very cool !!

Hello guys,

I'm currently flying two Extra 300sx 2.6m.
I'm going to receive my Extra 330sc in few days . I chose a custom scheme: the Fantasy Scheme.

I will use a DA 100 with MTW canisters.
Do you add more sidethrust or are you using the default one ?
If not the default one, could you tell me the sidethrust value you are using for this DA100 ?

Best,
Nicolas.

Hi Richo a few questions on that nice pictures.

who makes the inside clip that you are using in the aileron rib?

are you using stock hardware fot the links and ball links? can you tell us the size of both links?

Thanks in advance.

The clips for the leads are distributed here in Australia by Jaycar (electronics shop). I have changed most of the hardware to Secraft. The aileron servo hatches are not set at the same distance from the trailing edge of the wing (at least they are not on this one). There is a 5mm difference, from memory I used a 60mm on one servo, and 70mm on the other. I had to shorten the 70mm one by 5mm (a quick hit with the belt sander does the trick).

They are also available from Hobbyking:

Used them alot and the adhesive is really strong so that they won't come off easy, price could have been better though...

BTW, Richo, where do you get those nice servo mounts?
